What you'll do

• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements for accuracy and compliance
• Conduct audits to verify financial records and identify discrepancies or risks
• Apply tax law knowledge to support accurate filings and strategic tax planning
• Interpret and apply relevant laws, government regulations, and industry standards
• Communicate findings, recommendations, and reports clearly to clients and stakeholders
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on economic and financial analysis
• Maintain thorough documentation to support audit trails and compliance records
• Identify process improvements to strengthen internal controls and reporting accuracy

Requirements

• Solid understanding of economics, accounting principles, and financial statement analysis
• Working knowledge of taxation rules and compliance requirements
• Familiarity with relevant laws and government regulations affecting financial reporting
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for client-facing and internal reporting
• Ability to work independently in a remote, deadline-driven environment
• Prior experience in accounting, auditing, or a related financial role

Compensation

Hourly rate: $40 - $95 USD, based on experience and project complexity. Engagements are remote and open to qualified professionals globally.
