Inventor Professional Power User – Real-World Mechanical Design Sessions (Remote)

About the role

We're building a network of genuine, hands-on Autodesk Inventor Professional users to help us capture authentic, real-world application workflows on Windows. This isn't a design commission or a CAD project—it's an opportunity for experienced Inventor users to contribute practical, everyday usage sessions that reflect how the software is actually used in mechanical and product design work.

If you already have Inventor Professional installed and running on your own Windows PC, and you use it regularly for mechanical design, assemblies, or product modelling, we want to hear from you.

What you'll do

• Use your own licensed copy of Inventor Professional on your Windows machine to complete guided, realistic tasks (e.g., part modelling, assembly work, drawing views, parametric design)
• Demonstrate natural, everyday workflows exactly as you would in your normal engineering or design work
• Follow lightweight task instructions provided by our team while working within the application
• Provide honest, unscripted interaction with the software—no need to "perform" or optimize beyond your normal process
• Communicate clearly about session availability and complete tasks within agreed windows

Requirements

• You must already own or have legitimate access to a working installation of **Autodesk Inventor Professional** on a **Windows PC** you control
• We do not provide software licenses, virtual machines, subscriptions, or hardware—you must be able to open the application today
• Solid working knowledge of mechanical/product design workflows: part modelling, assemblies, drawings, or similar
• Reliable internet connection and a quiet environment for remote session work
• Comfortable following structured task prompts and providing clear feedback
• Prior professional or academic experience using Inventor Professional (mechanical engineering, product design, machine design, or related STEM background preferred)

Compensation

This engagement pays **$45–$55 per hour**, based on experience and session complexity. Work is fully remote and scheduled flexibly around your availability.
