Finance Domain Expert — AI Model Evaluation & Prompt Refinement

About the role

We're looking for experienced finance professionals to help shape the next generation of AI systems used for financial analysis, reporting, and decision support. In this role, you'll apply your domain expertise to evaluate, refine, and improve AI-generated outputs, ensuring they meet the rigorous standards of accuracy, clarity, and professionalism expected in the finance industry.

This is a remote, flexible engagement ideal for finance experts who enjoy critical thinking, writing, and working at the intersection of finance and AI. You'll play a key role in a human-in-the-loop process that trains and validates AI models on complex financial reasoning tasks.

What you'll do

• Evaluate AI-generated responses to finance-related prompts for accuracy, completeness, and professional quality
• Author and refine prompts to elicit high-quality, domain-accurate AI outputs
• Apply rubric-based evaluation frameworks to score and rank AI responses
• Conduct fact-checking and independent research to verify financial data, calculations, and claims
• Write clear, well-structured reports and technical documentation summarizing findings
• Review and edit AI-generated content for logical consistency, tone, and professional writing standards
• Provide detailed, constructive feedback to improve model performance through RLHF-style workflows
• Annotate data and flag errors, inconsistencies, or gaps in AI-generated financial content
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on quality assurance processes and evaluation criteria

Requirements

• Strong background in finance, accounting, financial analysis, or a related field
• Excellent critical thinking, analytical reasoning, and attention to detail
• Demonstrated professional writing and editing skills, including report writing and technical documentation
• Experience with content review, data interpretation, and logical reasoning tasks
• Comfort working with AI tools and providing structured, rubric-based evaluations
• Strong independent research and fact-checking abilities
• Excellent written and business communication skills
• Ability to work independently and meet quality standards with minimal supervision

Compensation

Hourly rate of $100–$200, commensurate with experience and complexity of assignments. Engagement is remote and flexible, open to qualified professionals globally.
