AutoCAD Mechanical Power User – Real-World Workflow Contributor

About the role

We're building a curated network of genuine **AutoCAD Mechanical** practitioners to contribute authentic, hands-on application expertise. This isn't a training or certification gig — we need people who already live in this software daily and can demonstrate real mechanical drafting and detailing workflows exactly as they'd perform them on the job.

This role is fully remote and open to professionals worldwide who meet the technical access requirements below.

What you'll do

• Use your own licensed copy of **AutoCAD Mechanical** on a **Windows PC** to complete realistic mechanical design and drafting tasks
• Demonstrate authentic 2D mechanical drafting, detailing, and annotation workflows to engineering standards
• Work through structured task prompts that reflect real-world manufacturing and product design scenarios
• Provide clear, unedited walkthroughs of your process, decisions, and tool usage
• Flag any ambiguities, edge cases, or software quirks encountered during task completion
• Maintain consistency and accuracy across multiple sessions/tasks

Requirements

• **You must already have AutoCAD Mechanical installed and fully licensed on your own Windows PC** — we do not provide software licenses, virtual machines, or hardware
• Demonstrated real-world experience as a mechanical designer, drafter, or manufacturing professional using AutoCAD Mechanical
• Strong understanding of mechanical drafting conventions, GD&T basics, and engineering documentation standards
• Ability to work independently and articulate your workflow clearly
• Reliable internet connection and availability for remote, asynchronous task completion
• Nice to have: experience with related mechanical/product design tools, manufacturing floor exposure, or CAD standards authoring

Compensation

$45–$55 per hour, paid for verified task completion. Flexible remote schedule.
