Apple Watch & HealthKit Data Contributors Needed for Real-World Health Research

About the role

We're assembling a de-identified, real-world health dataset by combining on-device Apple Watch and HealthKit activity data with linked clinical records from qualifying healthcare providers. This is a paid data-contribution opportunity, not a traditional job — you'll securely share a structured export of your own health data to support research and product development in digital health.

What you'll do

• Confirm that your Apple Health app has clinical records actively linked from a qualifying healthcare institution (e.g., a major hospital system or healthcare network with Apple Health Records integration).
• Export and securely submit your de-identified HealthKit data, including activity, heart rate, sleep, immunizations, labs, medications, and vitals.
• Follow provided instructions to ensure your export is complete, properly formatted, and privacy-compliant.
• Respond to basic verification steps to confirm eligibility and data integrity.
• Optionally provide follow-up exports if invited for a longitudinal contribution track.

Requirements

• Own and actively use an Apple Watch paired with the Apple Health app.
• Have at least one healthcare provider connected to Apple HealthKit via Apple Health Records (clinical data must be actively synced, not just manually entered).
• Be comfortable exporting and sharing de-identified personal health data for research purposes.
• Reliable internet access and ability to follow a guided data export process.
• Must be able to verify eligibility (qualifying provider connection) upon request.

Compensation

Flat rate of $60/hour equivalent, paid per successful, verified data contribution. Exact payout structure will be confirmed during onboarding based on data completeness and any follow-up submissions requested.
