AI Training Data Contributor — Twins Facial Capture Project

About the role

We're building a specialized dataset to help train next-generation AI facial recognition and analysis systems, and we need the help of twins (or sets of look-alike siblings) to make it happen. This is a unique, flexible, remote opportunity for pairs willing to use their smartphones to capture structured photo and video data that will contribute directly to advancing computer vision research.

No prior technical experience is required — just a smartphone, a willingness to follow detailed instructions carefully, and comfort working independently to complete a series of guided capture sessions.

What you'll do

• Use your smartphone to capture high-quality digital photographs and short video clips of yourself and your twin/sibling, following a provided capture protocol
• Follow detailed step-by-step instructions covering lighting, angles, expressions, and framing for each data collection session
• Submit completed data sets through our platform in the required format and within specified timeframes
• Review your own submissions for quality and completeness before uploading
• Report any technical issues, ambiguities in instructions, or data quality concerns promptly to the project coordinator
• Work independently and reliably to complete each assigned batch of capture tasks on schedule
• Maintain consistency and attention to detail across multiple sessions to ensure dataset reliability

Requirements

• You and your twin/sibling are both willing and available to participate together
• Access to a modern smartphone capable of taking clear photos and recording video
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written/visual instructions precisely
• Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
• Reliable internet access for uploading data submissions
• Good communication skills for reporting issues or asking clarifying questions
• Availability for multiple short capture sessions over the engagement period

**Nice to have:**

• Prior experience with digital photography or video recording
• Familiarity with data collection or annotation projects
• Basic understanding of AI/ML data pipelines (not required, just a plus)

Compensation

Competitive hourly rate, paid for time spent on structured capture sessions and data submission. Exact rate to be confirmed based on project scope and session volume. This is a remote, flexible engagement open to eligible twin/sibling pairs globally.
