As an AI Facial Data Contributor, you'll provide short selfie captures and video recordings following precise instructions, directly powering the datasets used to make AI systems more accurate, fair, and reliable across diverse populations. No technical background required — just a smartphone, a quiet space, and careful attention to detail.
What you'll do
- Capture selfies and short video recordings according to detailed step-by-step instructions provided for each task
- Follow lighting, angle, expression, and background guidelines precisely to ensure data quality
- Complete data collection sessions in a timely manner and submit through the designated platform
- Review your own submissions for clarity, focus, and compliance with task requirements before finalizing
- Communicate promptly with the project team if instructions are unclear or technical issues arise
- Maintain consistency across multiple submissions if participating in multi-session data collection
Requirements
- Access to a smartphone or device with a front-facing camera capable of recording video and photos
- Reliable internet connection for uploading media
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written/visual instructions exactly
- Comfortable appearing in selfies and short video clips for AI training purposes
- Self-motivated and able to complete tasks independently with minimal supervision
- Fluent enough in written English to understand task instructions
- Nice to have: prior experience with data labeling, crowdsourcing, or AI training data projects
Compensation
This engagement offers a competitive hourly rate of $139–$140/hour, reflecting the specialized nature of high-quality facial data collection. Payment is tied to completed and approved submissions. This is a flexible, remote-friendly opportunity open to contributors worldwide.
