- Interpret and validate technical drawings for accuracy, tolerances, and manufacturability
- Author clear technical documentation, including assembly instructions, design rationale, and Q&A content
- Analyze multi-part assemblies for fit, function, and compliance with industry standards
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve design ambiguities
- Apply mechanical engineering and industrial design principles to ensure aerospace-grade quality
- Ensure all deliverables meet applicable aerospace standards and compliance requirements
- Communicate findings, recommendations, and technical explanations clearly in both written and verbal formats
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with CAD software, specifically FreeCAD
- Strong background in mechanical engineering, with exposure to aerospace assemblies
- Proven ability to interpret complex technical drawings
- Excellent technical writing and documentation skills
- Strong attention to detail and precision in multi-part assembly analysis
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with industry standards compliance for aerospace or precision mechanical design
- Comfortable working independently in a remote, globally distributed environment
