Adult Inpatient RN — Clinical AI Training & Evaluation Specialist

About the role

We're looking for experienced Adult Inpatient Registered Nurses to help shape the next generation of clinical AI tools. In this remote, flexible-hours role, you'll apply your frontline nursing expertise to review, evaluate, and refine AI-generated clinical content — ensuring these systems reflect real-world bedside standards for accuracy, safety, and completeness.

This is a unique opportunity for nurses who want to step away from the bedside (part-time or full-time) while still putting their clinical judgment to meaningful use, directly influencing the quality and safety of AI systems being built for healthcare settings.

What you'll do

• Review AI-generated clinical outputs against real nursing flowsheet documentation standards and best practices
• Evaluate accuracy, completeness, and clinical appropriateness of AI-produced notes, summaries, and assessments
• Identify gaps, errors, or unsafe recommendations in AI outputs using your inpatient nursing experience
• Translate bedside documentation conventions and clinical reasoning into structured, written feedback for AI training pipelines
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (data scientists, clinical leads) to refine evaluation rubrics and grading criteria
• Provide detailed, evidence-based rationale for edits and corrections to support model improvement
• Maintain strict confidentiality and adherence to data handling and compliance standards throughout the review process

Requirements

• Active RN license in good standing
• Minimum 2+ years of hands-on adult inpatient clinical experience (med-surg, telemetry, ICU, or similar acute care settings)
• Strong working knowledge of nursing flowsheet documentation, charting standards, and clinical workflows
• Excellent written communication skills — ability to clearly articulate clinical reasoning in structured feedback
• Detail-oriented mindset with strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote, asynchronous environment
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and standard clinical documentation practices
• Nice to have: prior experience in clinical education, quality assurance, chart auditing, or informatics
• Nice to have: exposure to AI, machine learning, or health tech projects

Compensation

This role pays $55–$65 per hour, commensurate with clinical experience and specialty background. Flexible remote work with project-based engagement.
