Adobe Premiere Pro Video Editor (Remote, Contract)

About the role

We're looking for a hands-on Adobe Premiere Pro expert to join our network of vetted video professionals. This is a remote, hourly contract opportunity for someone who lives and breathes post-production — from raw footage to polished final cut. You'll work on real editing assignments that require strong technical command of Premiere Pro and a sharp storytelling eye.

What you'll do

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished, publish-ready videos using Adobe Premiere Pro
• Perform color correction, audio mixing, and basic sound design within Premiere
• Apply transitions, titles, motion graphics, and other post-production effects
• Organize and manage media assets, proxies, and project files efficiently
• Collaborate with stakeholders to interpret creative direction and revise cuts based on feedback
• Ensure exports meet required specs for the intended platform (web, social, broadcast, etc.)
• Troubleshoot technical issues related to codecs, formats, and project performance

Requirements

• Demonstrable, real-world hands-on experience editing in Adobe Premiere Pro
• Strong understanding of post-production workflows, timelines, and file management
• Ability to work independently and deliver quality edits on a flexible schedule
• Reliable internet connection and a suitable editing workstation
• Strong communication skills for remote collaboration
• Portfolio or reel showcasing prior editing work

Compensation

This is an hourly contract role paying between $60 and $80 per hour, based on experience and demonstrated skill. Up to 40 hours per week available, fully remote.
