Frontier AI models have read the entire public internet. They can write essays, pass bar exams, and generate working code. And they still cannot process a multi-state payroll run, work an insurance denial, or cover a load on a Friday afternoon.
That is not a small gap. It is the gap, because those are the jobs AI is supposed to help with next, and nothing about them is written down anywhere a model can read. The knowledge lives in people: the payroll specialist who knows which garnishment gets paid first, the biller who can read a denial code like a headline, the dispatcher who knows which carrier picks up the phone.
TaskGym exists to pay those people for that knowledge.
What TaskGym is
TaskGym is a platform where experienced operators show frontier AI how real work gets done. Not by labeling data or taking quizzes, but by doing the two things only a practitioner can do: explaining how the work actually goes, and then doing it, in real software, while we record how an expert handles it.
Every bounty on the board names its software, its rate, and its full payout ladder before you sign up. Typical session rates run $30 to $250 per hour depending on the role.
Who we’re looking for
People who run operational systems today: payroll specialists, medical billers, claims adjusters, bookkeepers, freight dispatchers, HR administrators, IT helpdesk technicians, dental front office coordinators, inventory clerks, CRM administrators, store operators, hotel front desk agents.
No AI experience. No advanced degree. Recent, hands-on experience matters more than titles.
How to start
- Apply once. It takes about five minutes.
- Talk through your work with our interviewer, then confirm the task map we draft from it.
- Once verified and matched, do paid recorded sessions in software you already know.
